Niner Transit
Niner Transit bus service is fare-free for students, faculty, staff and visitors; no UNC Charlotte ID required to ride. Operating every day except holidays and when the University is closed.
Niner Transit Tracking
Niner Transit and Niner Paratransit tracking with arrival predictions, schedules and service alerts is available online or with the Passio GO! app. The GPS tracking map shows the current location of all vehicles with color-coded route, stop and vehicle icons.
Mobile app
The free Passio GO! app is available for download. When prompted to select an agency, look for “UNC Charlotte Niner Transit.”
Service is subject to change without notice due to construction, weather and special events. Updates are posted on Passio GO!

Refer to Passio GO! for bus tracking. The Shopping Shuttle does not operate on football game days.
Fall and spring semester only. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Drop off and pick up are located to the right of the store entrances.
Shopping Shuttle rules
- Your 49er ID must be presented when boarding the shuttle.
- Riders must be able to load and carry their belongings onto the shuttle by themselves; the driver will not assist in loading purchases.
- Purchases must fit on the rider’s lap or on the floor in front of them.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
- Drivers are only permitted to pick up riders at designated stops.
- Do not chase a departing shuttle.
- Eating and drinking are not permitted; beverages must have a cap or lid.
- Use headphones when listening to music.
- Do not distract the driver while they are driving.
- Turn in any personal items you may find on the shuttle to the driver.
